After torrential rain, floodwaters were two metres high. Mrs Boudreaux was sitting on her roof with her neighbour, Mrs Thibodaux, wait ing for help to come.
Mrs Thibodaux spied a lone cap floating near the house, moving back and forth slowly but steadily. "Do you see the cap?" she asked Mrs Boudreaux.
"Yes, that's my husband," Mrs Boudreaux replied. "I told him he was going to cut the grass today come hell or high water."

A married couple , both 60 years old, were celebrating their thirty-fifth wedding anniversary. A fairy appeared to congrulate them and grant them each one wish.
The wife wanted to see the world. The fairy waved her wand and poof!--the wife had tickets in her hand for a world cruise.
Next, the fairy asked the husband what he wanted. He said, "I wish I had a wife 30 years younger than me." The fairy waved her wand and poof!--he was 90 --Heather Rowland
